It is well
I completely forgot where I wanted to start this blog off at. My dad always gets upset with me when I end sentences in prepositions. He also refuses to comment on my blog, although he always reads it (whenever there is something new) and makes verbal comments to me. Something about not wanting his thoughts to be made public. He's probably right. There's already enough garbage floating around on the Internet, we don't need anymore propaganda from an active liberal idealist to clog up our web. Not even in the instance to defend themselves, should the need arise, from someone who speaks out in a radically untruthful manner against them. Yep. No need to defend yourself, dad. We all know the truth. There is absolutely no need for you to ever post a comment here. Or desire. The world is better off without your thoughts being made available to the masses. (*Come on, reverse psychology. Work!!*)
In other news, this is how I feel these days. Stripped to the core, alone, blowing in the wind, yet completely surrounded by the grace of God. It is a beautiful thing in which I continuously marvel.
I have many friends who I love dearly and are forever good to me. The next portion of this post will be to say ways I have been blessed by friends as of late. I'm not going to think long or hard about it because otherwise, I could go on forever. This is just what's fresh in my mind.
1. Dom - for knowing me better than I think you should and not being shy with honesty when I need it.
2. Al - for knowing all my secrets and loving me more because of them.
3. Bercos - for the hilarious random cards you send. (I really AM like a hot sweater in July!)
4. Lauren - for making me smile even when you're not aware of it.
5. Dad/Triz/Dylan - for knowing how much random cuss words make me laugh and not holding back when I need a good one.
6. Becky - For the complete randomness of your e-mails. And your support for my love of mexican. (Food, that is.)
7. Angela - Because no matter how hard I try, I can never shock you with things I say / do. That's quality.
8. Dustin - you never give up on me and are a constant source of encouragement. That is quality as well.
9. Frick - I love your haikus. It's about time for another round.
10. Tyler - you could be on this list, but you left me. So, you're not.
I really didn't mean for that to be a rounded out list of ten, but there you have it. I guess that's it for now. Tomorrow, I have my first annual review at work. I can't believe it's been almost a whole year since moving from Kirksville. Time flies when you're having fun. A very wise man has told me more times than I can count that a man who doesn't love this life is crazy. Each passing day solidifies even more the truth of that statement. Call me Johnny Appleseed cause, MAN! The Lord is good to me!! Rock on, Jenna. Rock on.

Yeah your dead plays the spy game from afar...which is okay, we can't all be super heroes and step up to the plate to play (ie write) besides he's got enough to do let alone write to his very own and last daughter. My dad writes on my blog now, it helps me know he loves me. How's that for a guilt trip? think it will work?
and how did I make it to number 10 and with such a lowsy sentence, I'm sad...besides, don't you realize I left for you? You need to come here - you'd love it, at least for a while...there are so many stinkin' people here, it's been impossible for me to not get connected. On the same note there are so many things I miss, like you, all the time - just the feel of the midwest...but I like that because it's a call for me to return someday. You need to venture out here with me...come on beej - it's a trip, and there are some good churches too
I should at least be above Frick, come on now - at first I thought it said flickr...and I was like, damn, a website beat me...lowsy stupid picture holder!!! but alas, it's okay...sorta
My dead, eh? Sure you don't mean my dad? And don't try to worm your way further up on the list by throwing out curse words. You know they are my love language....
BLAST!!!
hey, speaking of which...when are you coming up here to visit?
Yay for gal-pal not making the list because he bailed on us!!! I would like to leave a comment for your dad, but I know how sensitive you are to spies, so I will refrain from saying anything and everything that could possibly incriminate you or him, and say, "Please leave comments on beejay's blog."
Hey Bj- yeah.. so hearing you talk about the lonliness thing.. try living in a feakin other country and then once a year you go to the states to see old friends and by the time you get back to germany all your friends have left and you are alone again.. with the GERMANS!!! ha.. life isn't so bad.. but I do miss what seemed like the simple life in KC.. heck at least I could speak the language.. glad to find your blog.. it is nice to see familiar faces in pictures.. will you be around for Christmas? I will be making my once a year trip to mecca.. well -KC but about the same.. k.. talk to you soon.. Brandy
Damn it, kid.
Beej, i'm so freaking bored. I'm at the front desk all day today and I didn't bring any of my homework. GROWWWWWWL!!!!!
Oh, I forgot to tell you... I DID just eat my first caramel apple of the season. It was quite scrumptious. It makes me think of when Heather, Andrea, and I first moved to Kirkwood and bought caramel apples and started a fire in the fire place and felt very autumnal... and we were sad that you weren't living there with us. oxoxoxoxo
BJ, I think you need to "come to Boston in the spring time"
It sounds like tyler is having a blast... He has still not improver his phone answering or email returning.. But I think he is having a blast.. We love the whole area and can see why he would want to live there... I'm glad to know he misses parts of the midwest tho!!
What happened to the writing thing you told me about?
come see us,
Betty Lou
Hi BJ,
Sorry you could not make it to the football party tonight, it was a good time. I'll call you the next time we do something. I'm happy to go with you if you ever need someone to go to a Penguin movie also or something else. Have a good night and be safe, I'll talk to you later. Scott Brant

so hey beej, my sweet little wool sweater in july, sorry for neglecting you for so long. i came here to support you and your sweet blog, but i ended up getting personal gratification by seeing my name on the list. what can i say? i've got a nack for finding great cards. but don't let my secret out because for some reason, you're the only person that really ever gets any from me (yes, that can be taken another way, and yes, it's still true...)
anyway, i'm glad you like the randomness of them all:)
ok, not much else to say today. i can't wait to see you in like, a month and 17 days (who's counting?) love you!
Not really anonymous...I am honest and open about my identity.
B.J.--how do you know when people post a comment on an old post? Well, here goes. You requested a haiku, and here is a special one I cooked up just for you, dear friend. By the way, how lucky was I to see you two times in 3 weeks? It made my 3/4 of a month.
A haiku
the burger I ate
covered in saurkraut it was
oh the ecstasy
(this haiku was inspired by an actual event, in case you were wondering)
One more for the road...
A watch alarm beeps
incessently chirping
where is it hiding?
(also inspired by real life in a Wal-mart Jackson Hewitt kiosk, next to the jewelry counter)
yours truly,
Frickster
