Look Into My Eyes

I once met a man from Egypt who had the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen. There's no real reason why I mention this other than the fact I just saw someone who reminded me of him. And I feel like my eyes have been opened lately. And I no longer want to be a rockstar, so it no longer makes sense to have that be the first post on my blog. Lots of "ands".

Speaking of conjunctions, apparently I should have never passed 4th grade. Last week on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader, I completely got schooled. Who really knows what a pronoun is anyway??

Kyle is definitely my favorite. I love it when he gets nervous and giggly...

My first graders know what a pronoun is and how many times to use "and" in a sentence ...Secondly, they are pretty sure beginning a sentence with "and" is a rare occurence, on the side of blasphemy most likely

I disagree with tyler. And, I begin sentences with "and" quite often.

Easy to disagree when you post anonymously! Oh, speaking of which - our anonymour viewer seems to falled off the wayside from checking everyday

Maybe it was you know who

Check that, whomever is back...checked everyday since the 12th, ugh, who is it?

And your dad is a big enough man that he can take insults from the likes of me any old day...esp when I drop under an anonymous header - no one called me out on that. Great line from necessary roughness "bet he had a great view from the bench"

Oh, is he disagreeing with the blasphemy or the rare occurence?

It's a new semester and I teased my fifth graders that I was "so excited" to learn new things because I promise I just learned about stalactites, stalactites, the Ididatrod race, Inuits, and the unique relationship between clownfish and sea anemone all last month. Good thing I am teaching 5th grade. ;)

Do you like how I still don't know what exactly you're talking about? (Yep... definitely not as smart as a 5th grader!!)

They look like icicles. and memory trick- stalaCtite-ceiling- ceiling starts with C.... stalaGmite-comes from the ground...oh so interesting. i hope that's a question on that show someday. haha.
